In 2022, we replaced the Presidents Cup with the Chapman Challenge, which is a two player team event which uses the Chapman scoring system.
Entry fee is $30 per player ($60 per team).
Top 2 Gross and Net in each flight win (can't win both).
There will be free range balls.
Everyone will receive a ticket for a hot dog and beverage. Please talk to Heather or Dave in the clubhouse if you have dietary restrictions.
Everyone who enters will be eligible for door prizes (2 draws per flight).
Team handicaps are based on 60% of the lower handicap player and 40% of the higher handicap player.
Both golfers on the team hit drives,
Each plays the other's ball for the second shots,
The best of the second shots is selected,
The third shot is played by the player whose second shot was not used,
From there the two partners play alternate shot into the hole.
To clarify, the same rules apply to all holes, regardless of whether they are par 3, 4, or 5. If on a par 3, suppose both players hit the green on their tee shot. Player A will then putt Player B's ball and vice versa. Then the pair will decide which ball to play for their par attempt (unless one of them has drained the birdie putt, of course) and play alternate shot from there on.

For team handicaps, the USGA and Golf Canada recommend using 60% of the lower handicap player's handicap and 40% of the higher handicap player's handicap.
