In-person registration for existing members of the Men's Club will be held in the Broadmoor clubhouse. If you register using Interac e-Transfer, you do not need to show up for in-person registration.
Please bring your registration form (click here for PDF or click here for DOCX). We will not have any registration forms or pens available!
Fees for 2025 TBD
Your registration fee must be either cash (exact change only) or cheque. Debit and credit cards are not accepted.
If you are paying for more than one person, please have a separate registration form for each person.
If your contact information has not changed, you don't need to fill in the email/phone number sections but must still have the registration form.
This registration is only for existing members of the Men's Club, you cannot pre-register your friends on the waiting list.
The Men's Club is soft-capped at 220 members. There is typically a turnover of 20-30 members a year, though since 2020's COVID outbreak, that has not necessarily been the case so we have given up trying to predict the year-to-year turnover.
All members from the previous year who are in good standing with the Men's Club are automatically eligible for the following year.
In order to maintain good standing with the Men's Club, members from the previous year must have participated in at least 3 Men's Night events the previous year.
If a member does not meet this requirement then they must apply to the Men's Club Executive for an exemption. Exemptions will be granted on a fairly liberal basis for injury, family, work or other extenuating circumstances.
All prospective members are put on a waiting list.
The waiting list is first come-first serve but there may be priority given to
Broadmoor junior golf members who are aging out of the Broadmoor junior program,
former members of the men's club,
Residents of Strathcona County,
and replacements for existing members.
To be put on the waiting list, please call the proshop.
Until the registration of the previous year's members is complete, the number of available slots will not be known. If you are accepted you will be contacted about paying your fees for the coming year (see above for registration dates).
If you are a new member and have an existing Golf Canada account, please let us know so we can transfer it to our club. Please indicate if you wish to make Broadmoor your primary membership or secondary/tertiary membership as this affects which club is responsible for paying your Golf Canada registration fee.
New members will be contacted after the April 3rd, 2024 registration for existing members is complete. New members who are asked to join will then be able to register on April 9th, 2024 (or via Interac e-Transfer).
All registration fees are non-refundable.
In addition to the registration fee, each Wednesday played will cost an additional $10, payable to the starter before starting the round. This is mandatory for all members who play during Men's Night, it is not optional, and these are non-refundable.
Green fees are not included in your registration fee and must be paid separately to the pro-shop. Note that while only the first 9-holes played scores count towards men's club Wednesday prizes, you are free to play 18-holes if you want.
Tournament entry fees are $40 for two-day tournaments and $30 for one-day tournaments. These are non-refundable, though the Men's Club Executive may credit players for future tournaments. However, this is at the discretion of the Men's Club Executive and depends on when the player withdrew, their reason for withdrawal, history of withdrawals, etc.
Registration fees include the following:
Golf Canada membership, which includes a Golf Canada handicap, club and window insurance.
Junior golf support. This includes drop-in Junior nights as well as our Boys and Girls Club of Strathcona County program which is run by Broadmoor Head Professional Corey Strong.
The rest is used for Interclub, tournaments (i.e., prizes, meals, etc.), Beat the Pro nights, and meetings.
